HairTracker had a strong concept and experienced founders, but no design direction. They needed help building a product that felt intuitive and confident - something solo stylists could rely on every day.
The app needed to be simple enough to use between appointments, while still offering powerful features like photo logs and formula tracking. And the brand needed to feel modern and personal - something that spoke directly to stylists, not salon managers.
We worked from the ground up - starting with wireframes to map out a clear, simple user experience, focused on quick access and easy input. From there, we designed a clean UI with subtle personality, optimised for both speed and clarity.
On the brand side, we created a friendly, pro logo and visual identity that felt as personal as the service it supports. We also designed app store assets, social visuals, and promo content to help drive early adoption and build a sense of community around the product.
HairTracker was a collaboration between first-time founders and a seasoned CTO, all driven by a clear vision: to make life easier for stylists. Our role was to bring that vision to life quickly and effectively - translating their ideas into a brand, product, and experience that felt ready from day one.
This was about building trust in a new product, shaping something clean, useful, and real - and doing it in a way that supported both a smooth launch and long-term growth.
Next projects.
