A few founders turned up with early-stage ideas, half-built products, or just a question they couldn’t quite solve. We chatted. I shared what I know. And they left with a clear plan on what to prioritize in coming weeks.
Lessons that keep coming up in every clinic
Every time we run a session, the same themes show. Doesn’t matter if someone’s just launched or already has a few customers - these are the things that usually need fixing, rethinking, or just doing a bit earlier. Here’s a list I keep coming back to with most founders.

1. Talk to humans before you tweak the code
Zero users isn’t a tech problem, it’s a “who really cares?” problem.
Record calls, transcribe them, then feed the text into GPT to spot patterns
Create audience segments and Ideal Client Persona(s) within the segments
Turns these insights into landing pages
2. Nail one clear ideal customer first
Pick a niche you can already reach
Build pages and messaging for that one crowd, then expand
3. Make the value obvious in the name
A descriptive company name cuts marketing & education costs.
4. Split marketing site and product
Main domain on Webflow (or similar) for speed and trust‑building visuals.
Actual app on app.domain.com.
5. Templates beat custom code early on
Grab a $100+ Webflow theme so you start with 20‑30 ready pages instead of hiring a designer for each tweak.
Keep a cheap freelance dev on call for small dev projects rather than burning weekends.
6. Use a forever‑free tier as a funnel
Keep prospects in your world until they feel the pain and upgrade.
7. Lean on warm intros for first signups
Friends, family, existing contacts - anything to skip cold outreach while you’re still refining.
8. Price by talking, not guessing
Ask early users what they’d happily pay and why. Adjust plans once real usage shows where the ceiling is.
9. Trust beats features on the landing page
Show happy faces, clear stars, quick social proof. Prospects decide in seconds whether you “look legit.”
10. Keep learning lightweight
Apple Notes voice memos + GPT beats complex research tools at this stage.
Iterate fast, launch, loop back to step 1.

What BOLD and Scale-wise are doing together
BOLD Bauhaus is a great spot for founders - friendly, active, and full of good people. These clinics are just an extra layer - a way to offer support that’s grounded, useful, and not overly complicated. We’re planning on further expanding our clinics to BOLD community members.

Why these clinics work for both founders and spaces
We talk about real things - no traction, unclear ICPs, pricing… the stuff that actually gets in your way.
No presentations - just back-and-forth conversation and practical advice.
It’s helpful for the space too - more people getting involved, more visibility for what’s going on, more connection between members.
Easy for venues – we take care of the setup, you get a packed room and good energy.
“Artur made it really easy to promote the clinic to our members, and the feedback afterwards was overwhelmingly positive. We’d love to host another session soon.”
- Kirtesh, Building Operations Lead, BOLD Bauhaus
